SIMPLEX MACHINIST LAMP

A charming, rare and early machinist lamp by Simplex. Made in England. Circa 1920s.

Steel construction with remnants of the original dark green painted finish, complete with dark green vitreous enamelled shade. Maker's marks to the shade mount and switch box. Mounted on a bespoke solid steel base.

Articulation at arm joints with additional rotation at the turret base and shade mount.

Supplied rewired with black braided cable (+2m), original ceramic bayonet (B22) lamp holder, original brass switch and plug.

Tested for electrical safety.
