An early 'cog' work lamp by John Dugdill & Co. Made in England. Circa 1920.
Steel and brass construction featuring the coveted cog joints with the period correct white vitreous enamelled shade. Original paint showing through some overpainting along with areas of exposed steel and brass resulting in a wonderfully rich patina. Admiralty patent marked to the base: AP9101.
Articulation at arm joints with additional rotation at the base and second arm.
Supplied rewired with black braided cable (+2m), new aged brass switched bayonet (B22) lamp holder and UK plug.
Tested for electrical safety.
